Your First CranioSacral Session

What Will Your First CranioSacral Therapy Session Be Like?

You’ll be fully dressed while lying comfortably on a massage table.

CranioSacral Therapy is deeply relaxing, supportive, and balancing to the entire body and mind.

A hands-on evaluation of the body’s craniosacral rhythm at various points around the body is done to determine the location of restrictions.  Once the restrictions and obstructions are located, hands-on releases are completed.

Many people typically feel things releasing and shifting, though factors like how long one has been suffering from the problem, how severe it is, and how open one is to the treatment will sometimes affect the amount of time required to get relief.  As the restrictions and obstructions are released, patients typically experience a sense of relaxation, and even fall asleep. Other common responses are a spreading warmth, sensations of energy moving or tingling, release of heat, pulsing sensations and deep breathing.  Often patients feel changes in parts of their body which weren’t worked on, because the body is all one unit, interconnected by the soft tissue in the body.

A supportive environment is created to enable this process of release and balance to unfold and come to complete resolution.

CranioSacral Therapy is one of the most advanced forms of healing available, and is effective for a wide variety of health conditions. A CranioSacral Therapist’s approach is to locate the source of the problem, and to then release those restrictions and obstructive tension patterns, allowing the body to  more optimally heal and balance itself.

CranioSacral Therapy facilitates release of what is preventing optimal health in your body, thereby enhancing the functioning of all your body’s systems.

CranioSacral Therapy is very effective in resolving a wide range of health issues, even those that have not been resolved with other modalities, drugs, or surgery.
